Our Big Give Campaign: a Warm Welcome to Refuge

This December we’re launching our ‘Warm Welcome to Refuge’ Christmas campaign, giving you a chance to double your donations and ensure survivors coming into refuge are met with warmth, care and compassion from the very first moment.

Survivors arriving at our refuges may have travelled long distances to find safety. They arrive having left everything behind, often with nothing but the clothes they are wearing. A warm welcome on arrival is crucial. Survivors are met by their dedicated Advocate and a Welcome Pack providing everything that individual or family needs. From essentials such as bedding, towels and a food pack, to a children’s box with books, games and a teddy, our welcome packs help make those first few hours in refuge a little less daunting.

With your support we can ensure every survivor gets this warm welcome.

For the first year ever, I Choose Freedom is raising funds for this vital work through the Big Give Christmas Challenge.
