Gracia has worked in the women’s sector for 6 years, beginning as a front-line worker at a Rape Crisis Centre. This role helped her expand her knowledge around the multiple strands of violence against women and girls. Gracia began working at I Choose Freedom in 2022 as a Domestic Abuse Refuge Advocate before becoming a Resettlement advocate and then Resettlement lead in 2025. She leads our Resettlement provision, which provides support for clients who have left refuge and resettled within Surrey, both in their own homes and within I Choose Freedom's dedicated resettlement accommodation.
