The Biggest Thank You

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported I Choose Freedom’s Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign. Thanks to your generosity, we are delighted to share that we have surpassed our campaign target, raising an incredible £13,318 in a single week!

Your donations, generously doubled through match funding, will help us ensure every individual and family arriving at refuge will be met with essential items such as brand new bedding, toiletries and food, toy packs for children, alongside vital safety advice, reassurance and the listening ear of a compassionate refuge Advocate.

For survivors fleeing domestic abuse, arriving at refuge is often a moment filled with fear and uncertainty. Many arrive with little to nothing, having left everything they know behind. Thanks to you, we can ensure that from the very first moment they step through our doors, survivors are met with warmth and care, receiving the support they need to begin rebuilding their lives free from abuse.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the trust who provided champion funding and the individuals and companies who pledged match funding, including Bryden Johnson, Progress Vehicle Management and Bronzewood Construction. Their support made it possible for every donation to go twice as far.
